| About this Project

A minimalist entrance defined by a pale stone façade and clean horizontal roofline. Recessed under a deep overhang, the timber door is accessed via simple concrete steps, with integrated lighting and an olive tree reinforcing the local Alentejo character.

| Details
A traditional country house volume with clean, restrained massing, finished in natural mineral plaster for a matte, earthy surface. Openings are set in wooden window frames with precise proportions, emphasizing depth and shadow.
A wooden pergola extends the architectural grid outward, structuring the exterior space and filtering light. Mineral flooring continues the material continuity from interior to exterior, softening thresholds. A corten steel pool is embedded into the terrain as a geometric extension of the house, aligning with the landscape through its oxidized, earthy tone.
